Vietnam’s Iconic North: Hanoi-Sapa-Halong

Welcome at Noi Bai airport @7:40 AM (CP 5J744).  Have breakfast with Vietnamese traditional sandwich – Banh Mi (1 piece/pax). Transfer to high - way to Lao Cai – Sapa (5 hours). Lunch in Lao Cai. Arrive Sapa, have a soft trekking to Cat Cat village - is located at the bottom of Muong Hoa Valley and near the stunning Cat Cat Waterfall, this is an age-old village of H’Mong ethnic group remaining unique customs and practices. Visit Moana Café (drinks are on your own expenses). Transfer to the hotel and check in. Have dinner with Hot Pot & Wine. Free time in the evening to go shopping at night market. 

Overnight in Sapa - SAPA CHARM HOTEL (4-star) or similar

Have breakfast at the hotel. Experience trekking Fansipan – is the highest mountain of the Indochina peninsula (3,143 m), located in the center of Hoang Lien Son range, hence known as ‘The Rooftop of Indochina’. Have buffet lunch in Fansipan.  In the afternoon, drive back to Hanoi (5-6 hours). Have dinner at a restaurant. Check in hotel. 

Overnight in Hanoi - MUONG THANH GRAND HANOI CENTRE (4-star) or similar

After breakfast at the hotel, visit Ba Dinh Square (outside) Tran Quoc Pagoda, Hanoi Train Street (drinks are on your own expenses), Hanoi Big Church – as well-known as St. Joseph Church. Have buffet lunch at Sen Tay Ho restaurant. Afternoon, leave Hanoi for Ha Long (transfer by highway – 2-3 hours). Visit Mega Grand World, bamboo shop on the way.  Arrive in Halong. Have dinner. Free time to go shopping at Halong night market. 

Overnight in Ha Long land hotel - AU LAC LEGEND HA LONG HOTEL (4-star) or similar

After breakfast at the hotel, transfer to Tuan Chau International Port. Embark on a cruise for a 4-hour tour. Have lunch with a seafood menu while cruising in the magnificent Ha Long Bay, admiring the fascinating nature, then anchor at the Ti Top Island area. Join a guided visit to Paradise Cave, one of the biggest and most beautiful caves in Ha Long Bay. 

In the afternoon, drive back to Hanoi. Visit a souvenir shop on the way.  Visit Hoan Kiem Lake - the 15th-century icon of Hanoi associated with the legend of King Le Loi returning the magical sword to the Tortoise. Free leisure time in the evening to shop or walk at leisure in the Old Quarter of 36 ancient streets.

Have dinner at a restaurant. Transfer to the hotel to check-in.
